The Skincare Co is a directory and magazine for independent and Asian-beauty skincare. We look at formulas first: what is in the bottle, how it wears, and whether it is worth buying again.

If a moisturizer pills under sunscreen, we say so. If a toner is expensive water with a pretty INCI, we say that too. Votes are a reader signal, not a lab result.

The directory is not exhaustive. The Edit publishes guides, ingredient notes, brand histories, and the occasional pointed roundup. We are not a shop. Where-to-buy links are listed as we find them. No account is required to read or to vote.
